Brian Pegno

Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Brian co-founded Center Street in 2026 after nearly a decade of experience helping companies grow. He was previously an investor at Charlesbank, a ~$20B AUM private equity firm, and a consultant at Bain & Company. His career has focused on business and consumer services, with an emphasis on accelerating growth as the first institutional capital. Brian has served on boards of companies in property management, marketing services, fund administration, sports, and footwear. Originally from New York, he attended Duke University and earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He lives in Boston with his family.

Jake Lippe

Jake Lippe

Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Jake co-founded Center Street in 2026 after nearly a decade of investing in and advising growth-oriented businesses. He was previously an investor at Charlesbank, where he focused on technology-enabled services and worked alongside founders on growth strategy and M&A. He has served on boards in technology and K-12 education. Jake began his career at Bain & Company. He holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and lives in Chicago with his wife.
